This article is about the person who is going to be the next leader for the UN. there was a girl named Bokova. She was a shoe in for the race but then a person from bulgaria came in nammed Ms. Georgieva. This caused issues because now that she is in the race the bulgarian government now supports the new runner. This could cause issues because since she is a girl people could say that people are being sexist against this woman being a big part of the UN.
I think it isn't a big deal that other people in the government and the UN like this person better. In reality it is their opinion. And i don't think it would be the best argument for people to say that others are being sexist, because i don't think they would have a very good argument about anything. Like the people that are in the UN and the bulgarian government are the ones who decide not the civilians of the UN.
This ties into the culture of the country because it would be a big deal for Bulgaria to have someone representing their country for the UN. It would also probably give them a lot more power to have their own decisions about things that they want. This is important to the culture of the country because with all of the new person in the UN the culture in the country could possibly get a lot more diverse.
